Office Policies

At Eagle's Landing OB/GYN it is our goal to provide you with our full attention at every visit so that we may address all of your needs and concerns. In an effort to optimize the quality of visits for all of our patients, it is our policy that CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE NOT PERMITTED IN OUR OFFICE. However, patients returning for a postpartum visit are welcome to bring their newborn. Please remember to make arrangements for your children prior to your appointment. Patients arriving to the office with children, other than newborns, will be asked to reschedule their visit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Appointments

      PLEASE ALLOW 24 HOURS FOR RESPONSE
  • Before calling:
    • Please have your insurance card available.
    • Please obtain a referral if your insurance plan requires one.
    • Accepted insurances:
      • All commercial insurances are accepted.
      • We are members of most HMO/PPO carriers.
      • Note: The patient is responsible for knowing the requirements of her insurance plan.
    Preparing for an appointment:
    • Please print the new patient packet, complete the forms, and bring them with you on the day of your appointment.  We ask that new patients arrive 30 minutes prior to their first appointment.  Every effort is made to keep your time in the reception area to a minimum.
    • Please bring your insurance cards and photo ID.
    • Please bring your co-pay and/or other funds required to pay for your visit.
    • Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

      • Cash
      • Credit Card ( Visa, Master Card, American Express)
      • Personal Checks
    Canceling Appointments
    In the event you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call our office 24 hours in advance. 
    ALL PATIENTS THAT FAIL TO KEEP THEIR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS WILL BE CHARGED A NO SHOW FEE OF $25 FOR ESTABLISHED PATIENTS AND $50 FOR NEW PATIENTS AND CONSULTS. FOR ALL SURGERY PRE-OPS AND SURGERIES THERE  IS A $100 NO SHOW FEE.

    Appointments for Minors
    Patients under 18, not emancipated, and arriving for problems unrelated to pregnancy, contraception, or sexually-transmitted diseases must have the consent of a parent, guardian or custodian. This person must accompany the minor patient to the appointment.

    Unscheduled Visits
    Medical emergencies will be given immediate attention. Please note, however, under normal circumstances our office policy will give priority to all patients with scheduled appointments.  Those patients that call the office or visit without an appointment will be assisted as time permits during the course of the day. Walk ins will need to schedule an appointment to be seen if its not an emergency.

    Referrals
    The physician who referred you will promptly receive a letter outlining the results of your evaluation and treatment plan.

    Call Backs
    Unless you have an emergency, we will return calls after seeing scheduled patients. Please be sure to provide all your available phone numbers.

    Prescription Refills
    Please have your pharmacy call us for refills. If you phone us for a refill, have the pharmacy name, telephone number and the prescription number ready. Call your pharmacy to make sure that it is filled before you go to pick it up.

    We cannot prescribe new medications over the telephone.

    After Hours & Emergencies
    Calls will be answered 24 hours a day by our support team or answering service. If a return call is not received within 45 minutes after you've called the answering service, please notify them again.

    Questions, Concerns, Problems
    Please phone our office during our regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

    Notification of Lab Results
    If you call in for your lab results, please give all phone numbers where you can be reached. Our support personnel will return lab results after tending our scheduled patient visits.

    Please allow ample time for labs to report test results. Many tests require 48 hours to several days before a result is known. Please allow 24 hours for our support personnel to return your phone call.
